That is what I heard a lot of when we were looking for a coach last time. I said time and again that he was not a very good coach and time has seen that come around. With the transfer today of Austin Nichols he will have lost 4 out of 6 of his 2013 recruiting class. ALL were 4 and 5 * recruits. He has a .700 winning percentage that has steadily gone down that last couple years out of CUSA.
Just because you can get high level guys signed does not mean you know what to do with them. No coach is a slam dunk unless he has tons of money and experience behind him. Even then you never know.
