Sixth series for the offense: Cook is 7-10 for 67 yards entering this drive. Cody Schrader with a gain for 15 yards or so. Cook completes a deep ball for a gain of 44 yards. Running backs really running hard on this drive. Getting a lot of nice chunk-yard runs. Missouri gets to the five and gets stuffed the first couple of plays on some runs. Now, it’s third and five. Theo Wease highpoints the ball on an out route and gets the touchdown. PAT is no good. First Mevis missed a PAT in his career. Look like a bad hold honestly, but I can’t definitely say so. Eighth series for the defense: Nice PBU by Kris Abrams-Draine. Then on the next play, MTSU WR Justin Wilson elevates over Dreyden Norwood in one-on-one coverage on a fade. That kid is pretty good. Jay Jernigan with a nice TFL to force third and 11. Carnell on the PBU intended to the Gronk-like receiver Jeremy Tate. Missouri forces a punt.
