MARTAVIAN PAYNE. We heard a couple of months ago that Martavian had "stepped away from basketball to concentrate on academics." Now we are hearing that we have given up a scholarship for this year as part of our self-initiated punishment. So, is Payne not on scholarship? And which happened first, Payne stepped away, or we told Payne we no longer had an opening? I'd hate to think it was the latter.
