After an in-person visit from Christopher Ball, Monshun Sales knew he wanted to check out Missouri.

Sales originally planned to wait until a spring practice, but then he mapped out a trip to see Columbia this past Saturday. It marked his first visit to the SEC program after Ball, a defensive assistant for the Tigers, offered him Jan. 9.

"All of the coaches were great to interact with it," Sales said. "Probably was one of, if not the best, unofficial visits I have been on. Their receiver coach has coached some of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and I would love to be a part of that and be under his coaching and getting development from that coaching staff."

More from Sales, the Tigers' top 2027 target, after his first Missouri visit:

FOOTBALL Jayden Daniels, almost a Mizzou…

QB, right?

As I recall he visited and may have even committed to Drink…then some unverified twitter leak led to a falling out and he goes to LSU

Am I remembering right? And we lost that season to LSU solely due to Jayden’s stellar performance imo

Drew Evers welcomed Missouri offensive line coach Brandon Jones for an in-person visit Friday.

Evers spoke with MizzouToday this past fall about Jones and limited free weekends to visit schools:

"I feel like I can talk to him for hours," Evers said. "Coach Jones has been one of my favorite coaches that I've met in the entire recruiting process, not only because he's knowledgeable, he knows what he's talking about, but also because he's a relatable person and has great track record so far."
