OFF TOPIC THE DUNGEON 10/18

Happy Friday my friends and welcome to this weeks edition of THE DUNGEON.

First off a sad announcement that we need to get out of the way as we will be ending our sponsorship with Celina 52 Truck Stop as it was brought to our attention their discriminatory practices against servicing camels; our tigers distant cousin, at their beloved truck stop. Us here in the DUNGEON believe in equality and while we are saddened by this development, we wish them all the best going forward. One door closes and another opens, next weeks sponsor is on deck so stay tuned!

This week has been a doozy on the recruiting front as Drink and staff have been working hard on rounding out the highly coveted 2025 recruiting class. Expect a couple visitors in town this weekend for the big TIGERS vs TIGERS homecoming matchup. We anticipate the possibility of a commit according to our semi-informed sources at the Iron Skillet in Kingdom City, however do not be discouraged if the news does not break right away, these things take time and we here at the DUNGEON would rather be accurate than first to break ground shaking news.

Now on to this weekends highly anticipated HOCO game. Its a big one guys and gals, some are saying it is make or break time as the Tigers hope to keep their playoff chances alive. For what its worth, I am picking the Tigers to edge this one out in a highly contested match. It could be close, but in the end the good guys always win and the bad guys go to jail or fall off a towering building screaming in misery before crashing to the ground. We've all seen this movie and know how it will end, so hang in there!

Basketball practices are heating up as there is plenty of optimism around the team. Our same source mentioned earlier (shout out to the Iron Skillet mole) believes this team will be better in SEC play than last season, which alone should get everyone excited for roundball tipping off here very soon.

Thats a wrap for this week, enjoy your weekend everyone and GO TIGERS! (the good ones, not the bad ones)

Class of 2026 athlete Jorden Edmonds will no longer be taking an unofficial visit to Missouri this weekend, he told Rivals.com on Thursday. He was planning to be on campus for the Auburn game.

Edmonds is teammates with Tigers commit Mark Manfred at Marietta (Ga.) Sprayberry. Manfred -- a three-star cornerback -- pledged to Missouri in June. The Tigers offered Edmonds in May, with assistant head coach and cornerbacks coach Al Pogue leading the recruitment.

NEW STORY FORMER PURDUE COMMIT TO VISIT MIZZOU

Class of 2025 three-star wide receiver Lebron Hill is scheduled for an unofficial visit to Missouri on Nov. 9. The Tigers still haven't offered the former Purdue commit, who they've been in contact with since late September, so that's an announcement that could come after he meets the staff in person.
