THE DUNGEON 10/11

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to our first iteration of THE DUNGEON.

First off shout out to our sponsor Celina 52 Truck Stop. Check em out on Facebook and give them a shout!

Next up big recruiting news around the football program. Some guy decommitted from our beloved Tigers this week. While we wish him all the best going forward we all know eventually that he is bound to regret it as most do when this sort of thing happens.

Drink is hot on the trail though to find a replacement prospect and is scouring High Schools from all over the nation. My hunch is that he will find a player or two soon. Very likely good ones at that, so stay tuned.

As for basketball there is a lot of fun stuff happening! Schedules being released and practices are heating up!

Be sure to check back next week for more breaking information and updates!

Have a great weekend everybody and GO TIGERS!

NEW STORY FRESH FACES: ANNOR BOATENG

I'm starting a new series of stories called Fresh Faces. It'll be features about transfers/freshmen coming in before or early in seasons.

Figured I should start with a pretty exciting freshman.

FOOTBALL *** FACT OR FICTION: MIZZOU SHOULD STILL FEEL GOOD ABOUT PLAYOFF CHANCES ***

@Greg Smith and I gave our responses to the latest Fact or Fiction: Missouri should still feel good about its CFB Playoff chances.

What's your take?

75yd TD to start the 2nd half

I've rewatched that play now ten times. Yes, Burks missed a tackle that ultimately let the guy take it to the house. But damn Chuck Hicks has a chance to make the play at the line of scrimmage. But instead of coming up and hitting the ball carrier he runs straight at the TE and allows himself to get blocked. I keep rewatching the play because I don't think Chuck saw the ball carrier for whatever reason when he engaged with the TE. Not sure what his PFF numbers indicated this week @Kyle McAreavy but I'm willing to bet we see alot more Corey Flagg going forward.

2025 SOFTBALL THREAD

@leskaer

I don't mean to step on your toes, but figured it was time.

Let's start a NEW Softball thread for next year since it is the beginning of the fiscal year and we now have 2 new teams that have joined the SEC.

I am sending my hole sponsor to the Softball Team tonight. Since we don't have a strong NIL program, the Golf Tourney is a GREAT way to support our young ladies.

Supporters, critics, haters and parents are ALL allowed. Let's just keep the personal attacks out. Pretty sure we all know how to respond to

FOOTBALL RECRUITING *** PROJECTED MIZZOU, UMASS STARTERS AS RECRUITS ***

I thought this one would be tougher to navigate, given UMass is a smaller program, but the Minutemen have a large number of transfers to fill up its projected starters based on the depth chat this week.
