If the Tennessee vs Iowa score holds up the SEC will have 4 teams in the Sweet 16. Missouri was 0-6 against those teams and 0-10 against the 7 teams the SEC sent to the tourney.
However, with the exception of Kentucky, Mississippi State and Auburn, Missouri had leads of 9 points against 4 of those teams.
So, the conference was strong as can be seen by performance in the tournament, however Missouri did not close out games or fair well at all against those tournament teams.
I have no idea what that means for next year.
