I know everyone thinks we had the upper hand in the two losses, but I guarantee you Vandy fans felt they had the upper hand until their coach chose to go for it on 4th and goal instead of kicking a field goal. Then terrible clock-management cost them a couple late shots at then end zone. Of course they should have been in position to win with a field goal on the last drive.
Coaches make tough decisions real time in the heat of battle, and hindsight is ever-present to make them look like idiots. I'm guessing the Vandy Rivals board is lighting their guy up right now.
I still say Stoops made terrible decisions against us with his QB-shuffling and going for it on 4th downs, but when you sneak out with a W, hindsight is a lot more forgiving.
