My wife and I got season tickets for the first time this year. We moved back to Missouri in July so we were late to buy them and options were fairly limited by that time. We got the email today to renew season tickets for next year. We know we want to add at least one more seat and are looking at changing locations. My two biggest complaints about our current seats (section 124) are the lines for concessions/general concourse traffic, and the viewing angle from the corner is not the best. Especially when the ball is on the north end. Obviously the concessions are a byproduct of the sellout streak (which is overall a good problem to have), and the stadium being nearly 100 years old. So anywhere we sit, at least on the west side, is going to have the same issue. Improving the viewing angle is going to require shelling out significantly more money which I’m not sure we’re ready to do just yet. Which got me thinking about the family section. Having never sat there before though I thought I might ask some folks on here who have:
1) How are the sight lines? Does it feel like you’re far away? The thought of moving more centrally without breaking the bank is appealing, and I generally prefer a higher angle for football viewing. I just don’t want to feel like I’m watching from a mile away.
2) How are the concession and bathroom lines? Better than the main concourses or generally the same? Also do they sell alcohol? Not looking to get wasted but I do like an adult beverage or two while I watch the game.
3) What’s the environment like? Obviously it’s a family section so I expect there to be families, but we don’t have kids. Would we feel out of place, or is there generally a mix of ages/groups?
