Missouri will always hold a spot at the top for Ari Slocum.

The Tigers were the first Division-I program to offer Slocum. The emotional conversation with defensive line coach Al Davis in November encapsulated what he saw as his hard work paying off.

While not being able to make it up to Columbia for the season finale against Arkansas on Nov. 30, Slocum, a Class of 2026 defensive tackle from Farmerville (La.) Union Parish, got his first look at Missouri on Saturday, taking in the trip with his mother and girlfriend.

"It's amazing," Slocum said about his mother getting to visit with him. "She does everything for me, so when I make it, I want to sure she gets everything back she gave to me plus more."
