Well, that did not last long. I paid the discount $26 subscription rate for 24/7 and after just a short time, I cancelled my subscription. Gabe is just too thin skinned when anything critical is said about his option, his operation and especially his staff of writers. I think it is pretty much a given that fans (or subscribers) are allowed to show discontent within reason. Threatening physical violence or demeaning a person's race or religion should be called out and corrective action taken, but putting a writer on the spot for obvious and repeated flaws should be acceptable.
In my entire existence on the Rivals site and 24/7, I have offered constructive criticism and acidic scorn for a single writer, something I believe is warranted. Of the dozens of contributors, I have only criticized a single one, first privately and eventually publicly. I was threatened with expulsion by G. DeArmond publicly, so I just walked away. No need to support a paper tiger like GD.
