For the last kU game at Mizzou Arena, at the very last minute possible, I decided to purchase a ticket on the second market, rent a car, and took off like a bat out of hell (Chicago) to attend that game. I barely made it - but I was so thrilled to be in that arena. It was packed, electric, Truman came down from the rafters, both teams were in the top ten, it was so darn hot in Mizzou Arena, you couldn't hear yourself talk! Our Tigers fought back and beat the dirtybirds in a truly hard fought terrific college basketball game 74 - 71. WOW! I could tell many many stories similar to this game, but this one stands at the top for me.
What has happened is truly sad - and things need to change NOW. Not next year. I'm sorry it didn't work out. I like HCKA as a person, but he is not the coach that will lead us back to being a top ten team (actually I'll accept top 25) a full house, all the elements that make Mizzou and Mizzou Arena a very feared place. Please end this in 5 weeks at the end of THIS season.
By the way, I paid $345 for that second market ticket, and sat 3 rows from the very top. Glad I did it, one of my best Mizzou memories! Last ticket I purchased was $10, and at halftime I walked down and sat in a 5th row seat that was empty. This is sad and it has to end. PLEASE ADMR, BRING MIZZOU BASKETBALL BACK TO MIZZOU ARENA!
