So just saw that Everett Golson is transferring from Notre Dame, and its been an ongoing discussion whether Braxton Miller will transfer from tOSU or not. Mauk has been a roller coaster ride (despite his W-L record, which is the bottom line), and has been criticized often on the board.
As a Mizzou fan, would you take a 5th year transfer like those two right now over Mauk? This is of course on the caveat that the 85 scholarships would work itself out so this was a possibility.
I would probably do it. Not because I'm a Mauk-hater, but because it would give us a better chance to win in the right now. Plus, it sounds like those with a better eye for QB talent really think Drew Lock could compete after his red shirt year, and picking up Miller or Golson wouldn't hinder his progression.
