I thought about putting this in the weekly mailbag but Gabe chastised me regarding the questions I ask so I decided to post here.
For purposes of the discussion, let’s say football plays in a bowl game and mens hoops makes it to the big dance again this season.
Starting with the 2019-20 school year, which is more attainable and sustainable:
Averaging 60k attendance in football, or
Averaging 12.5k attendance in basketball.
FYI each number would represent an 85% attendance level approximately.
