A .500 season next year would be the worst possible outcome

I believe Mizzou basketball needs a defining season next year. If Mizzou is on the bubble next season, that gives ka something concrete to build on in year 3. If mizzou has another year like this season, it becomes clear that mizzou needs to go in a different direction and the rebuild can start with a new coach. A .500 season leaves the program in no mans land. There's enough "progress" that the AD probably can't fire KA, but there's nothing to build on for recruiting, leaving year 3 to be a disaster, imo.
