Not only experience, but experience winning. And winning with this team, and these players. Our returning group doesn't have a lot of experience in doing the little things necessary to secure wins with one another, and certainly, the freshmen don't have that experience yet at this level.
This will be a process.

Jevon Carter, WVU's best player, personally has been a part of 85 wins in a Mountaineers uniform. That's just one player.
Our entire team, combined, has been part of 128 wins in a Mizzou uniform. That's an average of 12.8 wins per player in our 10 man rotation.
That's not meant to be an excuse, but rather, a realization of where we're coming from. Team potential is a matter of talent and personnel. Winning is a matter of taking that and applying it to individual game situations. And that will be a process.
