1. If the coaches were panicked about the OL, I doubt they move Jacobs back to DL. I know Cross said Jacobs hadn't progressed as hoped at OL, but there are four intense weeks ahead to make him an emergency OL option. They must feel that what they have on-hand at OL is not desperately inadequate. I think this bodes well for our worst fears.
2. Witter looked significantly improved in both body and performance in the spring, and yet early reports make it seem like he's a role player at best. This means our backfield, where a lesser Witter was no 1 last year, is vastly improved.
