After game yesterday a popular discussion amongst folks was how great a win was this historically. I started thinking about winning and losing as favorites and underdogs in the past. I made an earlier post and may have misread some results (it was late ). Because I like numbers I did a more detailed breakdown today. I think there could be some minor errors but interesting to see overall numbers. I tried to include all Pinkel and Odom games, but the totals didn't quite compute so there are a few numbers that could be off. These are numbers per Oddsshark.com, Here goes: Pinkel as a Pickem or Favorite 83-25; Odom 23-12. Pinkel as a dog 27-46, Odom 2-14. I also broke it down to incrementally by 3 point increments but its too long to post. I will just add this that stuck out to me. Pinkel was 26-23 as a 9.5 point or less underdog. That seems like a good record to me. Odom was 2-4, so not much of a sample size.
