With all of the speculation on the finish to the year, I wanted a little perspective on the probable outcome. I haven't seen it before so I apologize if this has been posted.
I went back and looked to see when the last time Mizzou went a season without beating a "Power 5" type team.
This was staggering to me but the last time was in 1971. The team finished 1-10 and their only win was against SMU of the SWC.
Even throughout the 1980's and 1990's, Mizzou always managed to beat a conference team or power team.
Now there are still 4 more opportunities but its going to take a major upset to get one this year. I'm guessing Mizzou is going to be close to a touchdown dog every game the rest of the year.
