On the deuce right now. Kind of a big game for us when you really analyze the schedule and who has what games left. A loss here would really make A&M getting a top 4 seed unlikely. A win would put them very much in the hunt again, and with a lot of confidence gained moving forward.
If Auburn knocks them off, the list of teams with viable paths to a top 4 seed (besides Tenn and Auburn): UK (likely to be 3 seed), Florida, Mizzou and Miss St fighting for the 4. Yeah, that game this Saturday is pretty big.
Side note: It’s pretty clear that 11-7 will get you a top four seed, but 10-8 might get it done. If Mizzou gets to 11-7, I would put their chances at 90% or more for a top 4 finish. At 10-8, I still think it comes down to Mizzou vs Florida. Unfortunately, as no one on this board can forget, Florida owns the tiebreak.
