Know there is a three page thread on this topic already. Apparently big 12th man donors were done with Jimbo and threatened to pull money (I know this is true with a couple of them), which promoted the conversation to begin. That makes a lot of sense when you look at who pulls the strings in College Station, and with oil money splashing around, people have big cash to talk with. Money talks, end of Jimbo.
