I've seen a lot of threads on here calling for Lock and Maty's removal at QB. I can tell you that I went into halftime last week thinking that Maty had a good half and it was the running game that was letting the team down. At that point, I would have told anyone who would listen that Maty looked like our starting QB.
Then the second half came along. I think Maty just gets to a point where he is frustrated by lack of results and he starts pushing too hard. He's like a poker player on tilt who ovreplays his hand or a baseball player in a slump who tries to swing at the unhittable pitch. The problem that needs to be fixed is between Maty's ears. Unfortunately, that can be a hard one to fix.
In the meantime, there is plenty of work to do. We need more work on the OL and on the running game. Throw in some more reps for Lock, and there are plenty of opportunities to be a much better team by the end of the year.
