As we go through the last month of the 2010s, I invite you to take a look back at where Mizzou Athletics was at this time in 2010, the first year of the decade.

In December of 2010, Mizzou was one of two athletic programs, the other being Michigan State, to have both their football and men’s basketball programs ranked in the top 25.

That fall, Blaine Gabbert and co. led the Tiger football team to 10 wins, a victory over top ranked Oklahoma, and a share of the Big 12 North title.

In the Winter, Mike Anderson and his fastest 40 minutes in basketball continued their success, embarking on a journey towards a third straight NCAA tournament appearance.

In December 2019, Cuonzo Martin’s slowest 40 minutes in basketball just lost to Charleston Southern.

Mizzou football is without a head coach and may end up with a guy from UCM.

Needless to say, Mizzou Athletics are in a much better spot as we enter 2020 then they were at the beginning of the decade.
