Honestly, what’s the difference between 6-4 vs 8-2 right now anyway?
Yes, a better ranking and a better bowl game is in play, obviously.
But if you’re not going to the CFB Playoff anyway, does it really matter? I would REALLY understand the frustration if it was 10-0 vs 8-2.
As far as today goes, a win is a win, and it gets them bowl eligible.
This had all the makings of a letdown going in:
-Coming off an emotional win at FLA
-11 am kick, cold weather, injuries to Albert O and Badie.
-Vanderbilt is better than their record shows, coming off their bye week, and also had bowl eligibility to play for.
