For those who aren't going to be able to read the story, the gist is that former Tiger Jed Frost went to his wife's place of work, shot her and then killed himself. Jed graduated from Park Hill High School four years before me. He was a senior walk on on the undefeated 1994 Big Eight title team and a guy I always followed because we went to the same school. I connected with Jed a few years ago when he started up a new business. Hadn't talked to him for a few years. Heard about this last night and was just sick. Didn't want to post it until the names had been put out by the proper authorities. Jed and his wife left behind two children. Just an absolute tragedy. You hear about these stories and it's always awful, but you never imagine it's going to be somebody you know.
I know there are quite a few people on here who already know about this because I've gotten a lot of messages about it in the last 24 hours. I appreciate everyone not sharing it prior to the names being out there in public, but now that they are, it's news. I hope this thread can stay on track and avoid being locked. I'm crushed for the kids and saddened to think about what must have been going on in Jed's life to lead to this incident. Passing it on because it will be here eventually and because I know some people here will be interested and probably know Jed and/or his family. Keep those left behind in your thoughts if you're so inclined.
