Each week I take a look at the potential outcomes of the upcoming game on an absurd level a lot of the assumptions will be based on the FL vs LSU and FL vs Arkansas
1. By now you know assumption number 1, we win this game... Please embarass the hell out of Jaydon Hill.. I still remember his remarks last year as well as his 2 INTs against us. Time for the get back.
2. Trevor Etienne and Montrell Johnson are the two straws that make this FL offense go.
Saturday they had:
Etienne led FL on the ground 18 car, 99yds 3TDs
Johnson was 16 car, 70 yds
As a team in 2023 FL is averaging 138.7 yds/ game
Mizzou must hammer down and keep another offense below 100 yds rushing for the game. Mizzou Defense needs another game like last week.
3. Graham Mertz has been better as of late.
Vs LSU: 26/38, 311 yds, 1TD
Vs Arky: 26/42, 282yds, 3TD
He slung the ball around the lot in the last couple of games. We have to keep Graham Mertz under 240 yds passing in this game.

Vs Arky
Wilson - 8 rec, 90 yds 2 TDs
Pearsall- 5 rec, 55 yds 1TD
Boardingham- 4 rec, 49 yds
Etienne - 2rec, 43 yds
Jackson - 3 rec, 23 yds
Johnson- 3 rec, 17yds
Vs LSU
Pearsall - 7 rec, 103yds
Johnson - 6 rec. 65yds
Wilson - 6rec, 63yds 1TD
Hansen - 2 rec, 34yds
Boardingham- 3 rec. 21yds
This will be a difficult play as he seems to throw to a lot of different receivers based on on matchups. Pearsall and Wilson would be rated as the top two pass catchers. Johnson seems to be the threat out the backfield. Our goal has to be to make someone other than Pearsall and Wilson beat us. They have to be held to less than 120yds between the two.
5. We need 5 sacks in this game in the games researched they have given up an average of 3.5 sacks/ game. D-Rob and JW 15 get home on Saturday.
6. Florida is bad against the QB run.. Jayden Daniels gashed them for 234yds... that's not our barometer though KJ Jefferson popped this FL defense for 92 yds 1TD on 17 car. We need a good rushing day from Brady Cook 65yds and a TD would suffice.
7. All indications are that this pass defense can be beat. In the two games I watched they gave up over 100+ yds to three receivers That bodes well for Brady to throw for at least 340+ yards in this game see below for reasoning.
8. Because of the Beast Cody Schrader I think we see a heavy run box to try to contain him and the result is man coverage on the back end. Cody still gets 100 rushing yards but they come tough.. the result of this is an open middle of the field and a play action pass that devastates this FL defense
9. Final score Mizzou 37 - FL 17 I think we found something since our GA game.
10. Mizzou gets 1 INT ( possibly 2) and 5 PDs in this game. FL in the two games researched averaged 6 PDs and 5.5 TFLs. We are 9-2 by 9:30PM and the Seniors are collecting their rocks from the M and being carried off the field!
