Some here have disingenuously claimed that this administration wanted to increase oil and gas and were friendly to that goal. Total lie. Today there was a hearing on gas prices . Grandholm, secretary of Energy, who made a fortune for pimping an electric car company, keeping her stock against regulations long after being appointed to her position. She famously laughed when asked in an interview what the administration was going to do to help with gas prices. Today all she could do is blame Putin.
I didn’t know much about Haaland, Secretary of the Interior. She is the token Native American in the diversity know nothing cabinet of Biden’s. Her bio shows her stint as New Mexico democrat campaign leader and two term congresswoman. She is described as very progressive and a champion of the green new deal. She was chair of Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign. So it is obvious she is very opposed to fossil fuels.
Today when asked multiple times she could not bring herself to say that the price of gas was too high. She would launch into the difficulty people faced in the pandemic and coming out of it, repeatedly purposefully avoiding any answer to the direct question “is the price of gas too high?”
Below is a chronicle of her one and only trip to Alaska, after which she decided to shut down two important large lease areas. It is obvious that anyone that lines up with the green new deal of AOC and Marky, chaired Elizabeth Warrens campaign hates oil and gas companies. She along with Grandholm are there to align with the extremely liberal Sanders wing of the party that will throw a fit if this administration actually expedites energy production in US.
While the administration and some goobers here pretend they support the industry when gas prices are out of sight, they are simply lying. They posture and pretend but put up endless roadblocks.
