still wondering why CM refuses to do the obvious when faced with more bigs and experienced ones he doesn't go to a zone. little they used it early in season it was damned effective and "fit" his guys. Aggies were abusing Tigers for many layups, dunk and short hooks. we know his rep is he is stubborn beyond measure and all the talk about new improved Transition Offense has degenerated into ugly half court or die O where you see when tigers do run and you have JT or JP with hand up open running to rim, they don't attempt that pass and pull back even when they arn't making shots and it's not working well.

When you rewatch many games it is remarkable how little they look inside. Often when JT is in there he is working hard and has leverage on his guy and is open to pass but JT especially isn't even looking at him just passing around perimeter and he isn't alone. it's fine when shots are dropping but in tough games they arn't and they have the players and big bodies to get more scoring in the paint but they just refuse to go there. JP is truly bad at being down low and not looking to shoot but passes out when he has a smaller guy on him and can take it home. when he does he is god awful at layups and too often goes away from basket with his shot, just not aggressive enough and Tigers NEED him to attack more. JT is doing much better offensively and even when he misses with a baby hook or shot it is high percentage and you want him to do it. but as Jordan said, they just didn't give him the ball enough.
