Think about this for a sec. Before the season, we had high hopes and expectations because of all the newcomers coming in and even when MPJ was out, those expectations did not fade too much because of a strong holiday tournament showing.
But, where would this team have been picked preseason in the SEC and what would have been our expectations coming if Michael Porter did not sign here? We'd have all the bums from the KA era plus adding a grad transfer from Canisius, a 17 yr old Jontay, and a raw offensive player in Tilmon. I'd guess we would be preseason picked outside top 10 in SEC. Bottom line is I think some people dont realize how much we are outperforming, especially when you include not having Blake Harris or Phillips anymore. CM deserves alot of the credit.
