Having watched MU football for 60 years, but more importantly, the Gary Pinkel era, it seems one of two scenarios plays out:
We stay in this horrible offensive funk, dissension sets in, and the season is an unmitigated disaster. People clamor for heads to roll, and immediately MU is labeled a fraud for the two SEC East titles.
OR
Pinkel and staff make some adjustments, players improve, key injured personnel get healthy, and wins start coming our way in conference. At which point, many will post: Where was that ..... against UConn or Arky State?
I have enough confidence in Pinkel and crew to believe that the second scenario is the more likely of the two. But I've been disappointed plenty of times before,
