Drew Lock screwed up his mechanic in 2018. It was almost perfect what he was doing in 2017. What he had in touch and accuracy in 2017 he lost in 2018 by trying to add more velocity. It looks like Drew has gotten back to his 2017 base mechanic while also holding onto the good velocity he added in 2018. You may think, Drew had a better throwing % in 2018 so he was more accurate. That was just because of scheme. Heupel brought his offense to UCF and the QB's throwing % nose dived as well.
