This meet is so huge it's getting televised live on FSN Midwest tonite.
#TigerStyle is 15-0 and ranked #3 in the country, while OK St. is 8-1 and ranked #5... I saw another ranking that had Mizzou #7 and OK St. #5, so I guess u could go with either one... Personally, I like the one that had us higher, so I'm stickin' with that one.
I was reading a little bit about it and of tonite's 10 matches, 5 figure to have two nationally-ranked opponents going against one another, so that by itself should be awesome... And I'm really interested in seeing a couple of our guys in particular, like Grant Leeth at 149 (who's wrestling with a neck injury, but somehow still performing well and has risen all the way to #3 in the country)... then there's Daniel Lewis at 174 (been red-hot all season and comes into tonite undefeated this season at 23-0)... and then I wanna see Canten Marriott at 184 (19-4 on the season but just cracked the national rankings this week following a pair of upset wins over previously-ranked opponents and now on a hot streak of 13 wins in his last 15 matches).
The big match tonite is the potential national championship preview at 141 with Mizzou's #3 Jaydin Eierman going against OK St.'s #5 Dean Heil. That should be awesome... I know MU's got a pretty important hoops matchup tonite too, but I think I might be watching this wrestling meet live and saving the basketball for the DVR or maybe the PiP will have to be in effect... Probably certain PiP now that I think about it b/c the Celtics and Golden State Dubs will be on at the same time too.
