Okay the genius in charge of the exit from Afghanistan has stuck his tit in another wringer. Upon election he shut down keystone and made his and his party’s desire to rid the country of fossil fuel abundantly clear. At the time he was elected we got something like 18000 barrels a day from Russia. Now we import about 250,000 barrels a day from Russia. I was not aware of that. The irony..no easy piped Canadian oil but we want tankers of dirty Russian oil.

Anyway Dementia Joe okayed the completion of the Nordstream pipeline at the behest of Germany. Now think about that..nyet to Canadian oil pipeline, US jobs and energy security and help on controlling supply/price, but “he’ll yeah” to Russian dirty oil and gas into Germany and Europe. Now he was warned at the pressure that would allow Russia to exercise.

So here we are months from those two gems of decisions. Russia is threatening Ukraine. Britain and US and much of NATO, especially the Baltics want to threaten sanctions to dissuade Putin.

Germany, that has more dumbass greenies than the US thank gawd, shut down nuclear plants, has dependable as shit on a stick wind and solar and are in bad need of oil and gas, especially in this cold winter from global warming. So the Germans say. “ Joe let’s not get hasty, we don’t want to make things worse here. Putin will likely only take a little bit of territory and kill a few citizens. “.

So that’s where Stupid Joe told all he knew in the press conference about the small incursion. Germany will do nothing to hurt their Russian fuel that Biden has to sign off on. Meanwhile to supply arms to Ukraine Germany (remember the country that doesn’t pay but half the 2% of gdp dues NATO members are obligated to.) won’t let Mayo countries fly over their territory, so they have to take a circuitous route.

The time for strength was long ago, with both Germany and with Putin. Biden has been exposed as a very weak leader to enemies and friends. Soon if Putin rolls into Ukraine, NATO will be calling for more American troops on our dime in Europe, while unwilling to use more than meaningless sanctions.

Meanwhile Xi is taking notes and certainly will act before Biden’s term is out. It’s better to be respected and disliked than be seen as a total weak incompetent leader.
