Another name I've heard for AD

Former Anheuser-Busch exec Mike Owens, who also is a former Mizzou football player. He's a member of the St. Louis Sports Commission. I know there are some alums in the STL area who are pushing his candidacy to those in charge at Mizzou.

He's kind of a Sundvold type candidate. Not an experienced AD, but a good business man with a lot of marketing experience. Here are a couple stories on him:

At this point, no idea if Owens is a legitimate candidate, but as I said, I do know there are some who hope he will become one.
