This is Michigan star LB Devin Bush damaging the field & Michigan St. logo before today's game.....
Now the full story of what happened is before the game when the teams came out for pregame warmup, the Michigan St. players came out as a group with their arms locked... They came out late... No real reason given as to why, they were just late... and as they were coming out, some of the Michigan players who had been out on the field already were going back in... And the players from the two teams encountered one another and the Michigan St. players wouldn't let the Michigan players get by... So some of the Michigan players, Bush being one of them tried to squeeze by (maybe force his way by)... The Michigan St. players wouldn't let him and there was some pushing & shoving... One reporter who witnessed it said that one Michigan player got clotheslined by the Michigan St. players and that Bush was shoved against a wall and that his ipod was yanked away from him and thrown across the foyer area...
When Bush came back out, that's when he went after the logo... Seems kinda childish to me, on both sides... I know these teams are rivals, but do they not have any respect for one another?... Seems like Michigan St., since they were the ones who were late, could've let the Michigan players by before they began their trek to the field... Same thing for the Michigan players, seems like they could've just waited a second and let the Michigan St. players take the field before they headed back to the locker room.
Either way, I'd expect things to be fiery right from the get-go in that game... Definitely oughta be a fun lead up to our game... Michigan-Michigan St. is the 11 am game on FOX (Channel 2 if u live in STL)...
