I noticed on the main Rivals website, there's a picture of Mauk in his throwing motion. His hand is toward the back (rear nose) of the football. I know different guys use many different hand and finger placements. I'm wondering, with as hard as Mauk throws, if this is why his shorter passes tend to wobble, rather than spin.
