Are you fine with only winning in November?

First off, I’ve previously hated on Odom, but I do admire his most recent November turn around, with some quality wins @ UF, home at Vandy, and the beatdown @UT.

Also, I am in the camp where 8-4 coupled with making more inroads this year in STL recruiting, warrants a contract extension at this point. So I am going into this post thinking he will be here for several more years.

However, the last 3 years is starting to show a rather worrying trend.

2016 was a rough year, bad start but rallied in November to win last 2 out of 3.

2017 took a curbstomping at home by Purdue and a completely listless loss against Auburn to fire up BO and rally his team in November against teams with no fire and coaches being fired the next day.

2018, his team loses to UGA, UK, and SC due to poor clock management, somewhat crap luck, rain, no first downs in an entire half, and general ineptitude. Until the UK loss in late October sparked new energy to sweep through November in mostly dominating fashion.

So what’s next in 2019, and beyond? Are you going to be okay with 7-5 or 8-4 next year, but sitting at .500 or less when October is through?

Yes, you are remembered for your play in November... but why do we seemingly forget September and October?
