but on the team...not so much.

Cliff Notes:

1) MPJr #3 on their "Top Ten things to Watch" list and picked as 1st Team All-American

2) Mizzou picked as an 11-Seed playing VCU in a play-in game and then ousted by St, Mary's

3) Porter #3 in their top-100 players behind Bridges from Mich.St. and Bagley...also picked Porter as #6 on their "Top Dunkers" list.

4) Porter #2 behind Bagley on their "Top-15 Most Impactful Freshman List" (Bamba #5, Knox #9, Trae Young #10)

5) Brad Underwood of Illinois picked #1 on theie "Top-5 Hires" list ( followed by Miller/Indiana, Holtmann /tOSU, Keatts/NCSt, Wade/LSU.

Cuonzo listed as "QUESTONABLE hire that has alreday paid Huge Dividends" WTF?

6) Kassius Roberson nowhere to be found on their top transfers and grad transfers to watch list

7) Two Page feature on MPJr on pages 52 & 53. NOTABLES:
says he beat Steph Curry in one-on-one
says little brother Jevon is 13 and way taller than he was and projected to be 7'1"
says baby sister Jayda is projected at 6'6",

8) when asked "WHERE WOULD YOU HAVE PLAYED if your Dad weren't a Coach?" He repled probably Oklahoma to play with Trae Young.

9) Says he is full aware of the Ben Simmon's/LSU and Mark Fultz/Wahington comparisons of top ranked NBA guys who had losing records with their college teams...but he thinks this Mizzou team will be different, older guys blending well with the talented incoming class...says he thinks, "We have a chance to be a really good team and surprise a lot of people."

10) On the pressure he faces this year he answered," I like big moments and I like challenging myself. I am excited for the oppportunity ahead and that my game is on point. I'm looking forward to it."

ATHLON'S predicts the following for the SEC this year (league finish #, tourney finish comment):

1) Kentucky, Elite Eight
2) Florida, Sweet 16
3) Texas A&M, Sweet 16
4) Alabama, Two & out
5) Auburn, One & done
6) Vandy, One & Done
7) Arkansas, One & Done
8) Missouri, First Four (#11 seed, play in game)
9) Ole Miss, NIT
10) Georgia, NIT
11 Tennessee, NIT
12) South Carolina, NIT
13) Mississippi State, none
14) LSU, none

MPJr picked as both SEC Player-of-the-Year and Newcomer-of-the-Year...no other Tigers on the first three teams.

No love at all for Frank Martin coming off a Final Four? Not much love for Cuonzo and Mizzou...only Michael
