It's not all that surprising, nor is it really a new idea, that Mizzou's weakest links, the last couple years, come at positions where we saw the highest amount of attrition. I just wanted to look back through and see exactly how much attrition Mizzou's had in their last 3 full recruiting cycles. Here's a list of players from each year who never made it to campus or left the program, whether it be for personal reasons/transfer, injury or suspension:

2012 - 19 Commitments

TE - Brandon Holifield
WR - Dorial Green-Beckham
DT - Harold Brantley
DB - Levi Copelin
DB - Ka'Ra Stewart
OL - Jordan Williams
DL - Evan Winston
QB - Maty Mauk
DB - Chaston Cuffee
DB - Torey Boozer
RB - Morgan Steward

58% of 2012's class left early. These players would have been RS SRs this year.

2013 - 21 Commitments

DT - DeQuinton Osborne
DE - Marcus Loud
OL - Nate Crawford
QB - Eddie Printz
DT - Antar Thompson
OL - Clay Rhodes
QB - Trent Hosick
OL - Harneet Gill
RB - Chase Abbington
DB - Shaun Rupert

48% of 2013's class left early. These players would be RS SRs in 2017.

2014 - 28 Commitments

DE - Walter Brady
OL - Andy Bauer
RB - Trevon Walters
WR - Lawrence Lee
OL - Michael Fairchild
WR - Darnell Green-Beckham
DE - Rocel McWilliams

Only 25% of this class has left, to this point. There will likely be quite a few from this class who move on this offseason.

So, nothing ground-breaking here, but the names bring to light some of the positional struggles we've seen the last couple years.
