Since Bama USC has been cancelled and USC-ND off the books, both need an extra game, and should a season occur, they are talking about playing each other opening weekend. Obviously a lot of "what-ifs" and moving parts to make anything happen, but it's encouraging that efforts are still being made to salvage this season.
