So, I have been reading about the "Joker" and I feel that over the past two years we have seen some blah attempts at incorporating this into the defense.
I could be mistaken but we employed something similar with McGuire and Walker. I am not really a fan of what I have seen but what wrinkles do you think can be added to make it better?
I have seen in the observations that Quise has seemed to pass Miller on the depth chart at least in spring. Is Mekhi hurt? does Quise give more route options than Miller?
Lastly, It felt like in Lupers press conference he stated several times that they would play the best back when the season rolls around. It seems that early on that The APp State Back Noel has the early lead with Carroll in the 1B spot. Is this the first season that they truly run two backs? History says this staff eventually settles on a bell cow that runs about 70% of the time ( No actual data to support this)
Thoughts??
