Head Coach Barry Odom is a loyal and wonderful MU alumnus and football player. What he is not is a SEC worthy head coach and his rookie mistakes as a coach are not defensible. From allowing the defense to be changed from last year to his "handling of special teams" and his insistence of continuing to play Drew Lock even though he cannot lead the team to a win shows he is not up to the task. He is too nice and I am sure the other coaches in the SEC look forward to seeing him on the other sideline and exchanging pleasantries with him after the game. The only thing I can think of is he is a Loveable Loser. For those that keep making excuses that the cupboard was bare you are mistaken. This team has talent what it lacks is coaching and leadership. He needs to cross his arms ala Gary Pinkel get angry and start showing he can lead this team to a win.
