Will post info here starting at 3

Not a very good performance Saturday night. Have to carry practice over to the games on Saturday.

"I'd like to be sitting here 6-0 but we're not. Dealing with facts and reality and working to improve ourselves in every area."

Have looked good at times on each side, but have to put it together on both sides at the same time.

Admire everything Middle Tennessee does, will be a great challenge.

Talked to the team Sunday night about opportunities lying in front of them.

Pretty sure this is the longest opening statement of the season.

On Cale Garrett: Has a decent knowledge base on the defense for a freshman and has continued to improve every week. Moving Scherer to the weak side would create an advantage and Cale was the best guy at MIKE.

On the interceptions Saturday: One was a bad read by Drew (the one to Crockett), the other one, depth on the route wasn't where it should have been (the one to Culkin). "In a passing offense you've got to be able to play catch and we didn't do that."

Odom says he talks to the team about getting bowl eligible. "It's important to know what's out there...I don't want to put too much on them, but they know it. They read more stuff than I do."

"I want to win them all. That's not gonna happen this year." Bowl game would be very important. Wants to get the seniors a seventh game.

Worries about confidence every week, either too much or not enough. "Guys that have the inner drive and focus and are competitors, I think are going to respond a little bit better and quicker."

On Crockett: Continuing to improve, learned weekly over the first six weeks. Won't run away from a lot of guys, runs North and South.

On Alex Ross: Still a little bit of a hindrance in deceleration. Doesn't have the true top end speed back. Keeps thinking it's going to get there. Think we're really close. Hoping he's back in the fold more this week.

Zanders did some good things. Got to have a good plan going into each game. Doesn't want it to be Zanders runs, Lock throws. Need to be able to run the playbook with both. How much he plays depends on the matchup each week.

Wide receiver rotation: Base it on total body of work and how they've practiced from Sunday to Saturday. "I will forever to believe if you've practiced very well you're going to have an opportunity to play well on Saturday." A lot of it is determined Tuesday through Friday.

Mizzou was trying to emphasize the screen game, but Florida also did a good job of taking away some things down the field. Also had a chance to make some catches that they didn't. All things combined it didn't work obviously.

Asked about tempo, for right now, yes, that's the way they want to go. I asked why. "I don't think if we got in a huddle situation and ran power football" that it would work. Says he thinks their best chance is to keep defenses off balance by going fast.

"Most important thing is to get the first (first down)."

Odom said Logan Cheadle will be back.

Said they showed the play where Augusta ran down a back 30 yards downfield to the team in film study. "It was unbelievable"

Odom said both Zanders and Lock got enough of talking to the media after the game Saturday night, he wanted to let them clear their minds at the midway point of the season and give them a break. Wanted to take something off their plate.
