Good to win one. Challenged the guys about what was still out there. They responded. Not pretty or easy, but they won. Impressed with how they responded to adversity "really over the last 18 months."
Lot of points left out there, especially in the kicking game. But continued to fight and trusted each other and "played well during times of the game when we really needed to. It wasn't pretty that's for sure."
I asked Odom to tell us who Ben Tesson was. "He's the guy that made the extra point right?"
Odom references “Tin Cup” says he moved everything from one pocket to the other after one of the missed kicks but it didn’t work.
"Eventually we'll break down the wall and we'll get the program back where we want it."

Nate Howard, Marcell Frazier had big games late. Has talked to Nate Howard a lot, think he has a chance "in the classroom and on the field to be a special guy." "He's got a great pass rush, he's got a really good first and second step off the ball." Starting to understand how big a role he can have and is maturing. "Long ways to go but proud of what he did tonight."
Penton gave the game ball to Michael Scherer after the game.
Said he thought J'Mon Moore grew up a little bit.
Said on the FG at end of first half Heupel wanted to punt, Barry said they were going to make it. "Foolish by me." Said Jason Reese saved a TD on that play.
Kicking will be an open competition this week.
