"Trying to figure out how to start this off...We had a really good week of preparation, had a really good week of practice and then obviously performed very, very poorly."

"It's time to produce some results"

How do you explain the first quarter? "I don't know" Said he didn't sense anything in the locker room or early on that would indicate what would follow.

On Damarea Crockett: Not 100%, but close to it. "DIdn't have much room to run up front, didn't matter which back was in there."

Says he'll have honest and open discussions this week.

"When you lose in that fashion you're not really excited about the way you played in any aspect, in any area."

Heupel coached second half from the press box to see if he could see things better.

I asked if he's confident he has the leaders on this team to turn it around: "Those guys have invested a whole lot into this program and I'm confident they're going to keep on leading."

"If we go and win games there will be more fans. If we don't, there won't. Thankful for the fans that were there."

Is it an issue of confidence? "Maybe so. I've got to evaluate a lot of things. It shouldn't be. We've got a lot of really good players and we've got to get it figured out."
