I post this at some risk, but I know people are having some fun with all the naysayers' posts made back in September or when the team was 1-5. But here's the thing - Barry Odom when he gave that press conference after the Auburn game was dead. He was going to be fired after the season. Let's not pretend otherwise.
What you saw after that has only been done a baker's dozen times in the history of college football. Only the second time in SEC.
Have fun with people who are sanctimonious and obnoxious by all means (I say with a full sense of irony) - but just remember they weren't exactly wrong when this team was 1-5. What changed was highly unlikely and borderline miraculous.
Which is all good - this season became fun again in the last five weeks.
