Just checking in with the baseball crowd to see what the thoughts were for the Florida series this weekend? Didn't see anything on pitching match-ups etc, so was wondering what those in the know thought.
Seems like we may be struggling a bit as of late (4-6 in last 10) and was curious if anyone had some analysis (pitching depth, quiet bats, poor fielding etc). It would appear to be a big match-up this weekend as we're just a game out of first in the East and a game ahead of Florida and UGA.
Finally, clearly TJ's squads have struggled the past few years so, is there any indication that he needs to hit certain milestones this year to get a new contract? I mean if he wins 35 games would he be safe or does he have to win the East and/or get into the NCAA's to stay? I've heard various versions of what needs to happen but I don't know enough to know if any of those are even clued-in opinions.
