PHOENIX – Mizzou Baseball (0-1) dropped game one of the four-game opening series at Grand Canyon, 11-3, Friday afternoon. The Tigers were down just three before the Antelopes broke the game open with an eight-run sixth inning.

Mizzou’s first run came in the eighth on a single to right field off the bat of junior Joshua Day, scoring redshirt sophomore Seth Halvorsen. Fifth-year senior Andrew Keefer knocked in the Tigers second run with a double off the wall in the top of the ninth. The final run scored on the following a groundout from junior Cameron Swanger.
