The Tigers (and I) are back at Taylor Stadium for a series-ending doubleheader against Alabama. I want to thank Michael Natelli for covering for me last night while I was in KC for Tiger Ball. If any of you were there and have suggestions for how the event can be improved for next year, feel free to message me. Shane Benes is making his season debut at DH, hitting in the seven spot. He hit a triple that almost cleared the center field wall in the bottom of the second inning. MU wasn't able to capitalize, though, and is still level with the Crimson Tide 0-0. I'll have more updates after MU starting pitcher Tanner Houck and co. get through the top of the third.
