Since I've been harping on the lack of coverage, I'll back it up by throwing things out there that I'd like to know (and some may have been covered, and if so, great...a link would be fantastic).
1. Is Santos still on the team? Yes, I figure he is, but is there any official word on A. what the injury is, B. when he should be expected back, if he's not practicing now.
2. I take it the Dru Smith saga is over for 2018-2019?
3. Guess's role. I was surprised to see him out there in the PJ as it seemed like a redshirt was in his future. Does the staff believe he can work his way into getting more time, or will he be outside of the rotation?
4. Staff's reaction to Tilmon's early season foul troubles. It looks a lot like last year, is he falling into bad habits or do they believe it's simply bad officiating (it is) early on?
5. We saw a little bit of zone in the USVI. Will that be a changeup they plan on throwing out situationally, or something that is used more/less?
6. Mark Smith. Off to a pretty good start. He did he same in Champaign a year ago and it fell apart for numerous reasons. Would like some background on what's being done to ensure he can carry this level of performance throughout the season.
7. I'd like an expose` on Geist. He seems like an interesting story waiting to happen.
8. I believe by the end of the PJ the team was looking a lot better in many areas than they had early on. Would have interest in hearing the coaching staff's thoughts on progress.
9. PM has gone all in on PFF rankings in football. There are oodles of stats junky sites for baskeball. Can we expect the same? I mean, I know he True Shooting percentage tiff and all, but still. I'd be interested.
10. A study of successful non-blue blood NCAA teams in terms of player continuity would be interesting as well. By that I mean the same coach, coaching the same players for 2+ years and having success doing so.
